Original Text and Music: The Spinning Toy Top

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted here. I've been working on a sacred cantata based on St. Faustina's Divine Mercy in my Soul, which I'll complete one day, but I've also completed this art song for soprano and string orchestra. The text mirrors the Gospel parable of the woman and her lost coin, except in this composition it is a lost toy top and the woman spins it one last time before she enters Heaven.
