    Hello all,

I was wondering if there is anyone on this forum who has the requisite Latin skills to help me with a translation of the Oxyrhynchus hymn into Latin in order to make a chant setting. Even though it is originally in Greek, I wanted to base the translation off of the following English translation for simplicity:

Let the world be silent. Let not the stars shine their lights
Calm the winds, silence the rivers
Let all praise the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit
Let all sing together Amen, Amen.
Let kings bow, and God receive the glory!
The sole giver of good things, Amen Amen.

Using some "online resources", I have come up with this, but I imagine that there are numerous grammatical errors sprinkled throughout:

Taceat mundus; Non luceant sidera sua lumina.
    Placate ventos, muta flumina.
Laudent omnes Patrem, et Filium, et Spiritum Sanctum!
    Cantent omnes simul: Amen, Amen.
Adorent reges, et Deus suscipiat gloriam!
    Unicus dator bonorum, Amen, Amen!

If anyone is able to help, I would be very grateful!
