Internet Archive Offline

    As a researcher of hymns and hymnals, I often rely on the Internet Archive. I see however that they recently suffered a massive data-breach and their services are offline temporarily while they improve security and fix things. Does anyone know when they might be back online?

    Nope. It…may never come back. The British Library was hacked last October and is still mostly offline. It will be years before it works again if it ever does.

    Jeffrey Tucker wrote an article about it going down and was quite concerned.

    It is back in a provisional read-only mode. The preview doesn’t really work. But it’s back!

    Yes? Like, they announced it and everything. The site is slow however.
