The Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham has immediate openings for soprano and tenor staff singers. Candidates should possess excellent skills in the following areas: sight-reading, vocal production, choral blend and general musicianship. Understanding and appreciation of Catholic liturgy as well as familiarity with Anglican chant, Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony is expected. Weekly schedule includes Wednesday evening rehearsals – 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm and two Sunday Masses, 9:30 am and 11:15 am. Annual compensation is approximately $10K, depending on experience, and with participation in additional services throughout the year.
