Volunteer Cantors and Singers needed for Tridentine Latin Sunday Vespers at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Shrine in Manhattan
The Pontifical Shrine and Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Manhattan is the Sanctuary of the Canonically Crowned Miraculous Statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, served by the Society of the Catholic Apostolate, the Pallottine Fathers in the Archdiocese of New York since 1884
Masses are offered weekly and daily in English, Spanish, Polish and Latin. Mass is held once a month in French and Creole.
Ever since the lockdown and reopening of churches in 2020, Solemn Tridentine Latin Vespers has been offered every Sunday afternoon.
Volunteer Cantors and Singers are needed each Sunday at 4:30 PM to help chant and sing the Sacred Liturgical Rites of Solemn Vespers.
