Which LM hymn tune is this?

    Which hymn tune is this? I notated it from memory, so the melody may be somewhat off, especially in the last line.

    I could not find any leads using that first line on Hymnary's usually nifty "Search Melody" function.

    I recall seeing a similar melody in the Hymnal 1982 recently, possibly by M. Lee Suitor. I don’t have my copy handy so I suggest checking the index and looking up that name.

    The tune is CORNISH by M. Lee Suitor. It appears in numbers 229 & 256 in the Hymnal 1982. The last line is indeed somewhat different.

    Looks like Diapson is right. Except for the last line it is Suitor's tune "Cornish."
