Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, a bilingual parish of the Diocese of Charlotte with approximately 1,700 families, is seeking an individual to serve as the full-time Director of Sacred Music. The successful candidate will have training in choral conducting, experience working in the parish setting, and must be a Roman Catholic in good standing. A graduate degree (or equivalent training), familiarity with Gregorian chant, and keyboard skills are expected.
Built in the neo-gothic style and dedicated in 1952 as a memorial to Mrs. Julian Price, the church features a Kleuker pipe organ and extraordinary stained-glass windows designed by Italian master artist, Guido Nincheri, of the Florentine pre-Raphaelite school. The natural acoustics of the church perfectly complement vocal music of the traditional Catholic treasury in service of the sacred liturgy.
