Friends, I’m offering a new collection that I hope some on this forum will find useful. Read about it at this link below. While I’ve shared this to Facebook, I suspect that it is here that I can expect the most constructive feedback. I welcome that, and any suggestions for improvement. What would make this idea better?
In fairness to you, there are already many examples in your previous repertoire where you suggested an expected melody on a particular day. Regardless, I think being able to retain some of the original hymns, whilst adding a complementary verse is also going to be a wonderful option. I feel like my Swiss Army knife just added a new tool.
Update: As the next phase of my Last Verse Introit Hymns project, I have begun to offer "First Verse Introits." With this collection, the introit is adapted as the first verse, followed by the familiar text. Take a look and click on "V1" for the introit as the first verse.
