The first choir director at my parish, who was also director when I was growing up, requested I compose a setting of Anima Christi. The only parameters were that it should be for SATB and "not too high." (Of late, I've been writing largely for the parish women's schola, which currently is a bit short on true altos, pushing the register towards the higher end.)

The composition turned out as a hymn setting with some motet qualities. I'm sharing it here in case any of you might have a use for it. God bless!
