A large Catholic Church northeast of Atlanta is seeking one tenor and one bass or baritone Choral Scholar for our Choir. The regular schedule is one weekly rehearsal (7:30 to 9:30 Wednesday evenings) and Sunday 11:00 a.m. Mass, as well as Christmas and Holy Week. You will also have the opportunity to serve as cantor at other masses (9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. plus some Holy Days) and to sing some solo or small-ensemble repertoire as befits the occasion. Schola (mostly a subset of the choir) sings more challenging pieces -- for example, an English adaptation of Victoria's Saint John Passion for Good Friday.
