James Korman - Christmas Carol Mass

    Dear friends, does anyone have the Christmas Carol Mass by Korman in the 2 voices version? I did find the SATB version on Imslp but I am looking for the 2 voices version. Anyone?

    I don’t have it and can also only drum up the SATB version.

    @ VocesCapituli , I have the Latin and English version of both of those Mass settings, and St. Mary's Choir in Akron, Ohio sang the Christmas Carol Mass every Christmas from 1977 to 2005. They are really beautiful Mass settings set to sacred christmas carol melodies, so very easy for the choir and congregation to sing. I will look and see if I have a two voice version, but I don't think I do. Contact oldhymns here on the forum, he might have a two voice version.

    Not one person who has Korman's mass for 2 voices? I have tried the various facebook groups, unfortunately also with no luck. Can anyone help me further on the right path? Thanks in advance.

    It seems to me that you might be putting too much stock in this… at the very least, I guarantee no one is deliberately withholding it from you.

    You could always take the satb version and make your own arrangement.

    Also, have you tried searching on the inter library loan (ILL/worldcat) databases? https://www.worldcat.org/search?q=Korman+Christmas+Carol+mass

    I am at a Czech parish. So I have been looking. I know I have seen it! I found the Korman Mass of the Blessed Sacrament. I am off to the attic.

    I have drawers filled with Latin masses. Many by Kornan. Unfortunately we only have the SATB version of this one. It was a favorite of our choir for decades!
