Generic choral pieces for the saints?

Our parish choir (i.e. not professionals, or advanced sight-readers, etc.) has just started to learn some choral pieces (choral singing being formerly restricted to a few SATB hymns). They have already learnt a couple of simple pieces such as the Arcadelt Ave Maria, Tallis' If ye love me", Mendelssohn's How lovely are the messengers.

I am looking for additional choral recommendations/suggestions that could be used for the feast of any saint. Preferably in English and largely homophonic, though polyphonic ones will also be considered.

I know you preferred English, but here are some Latin motets you might consider:

Beati eritis of Giovanni Croce has always been one of my favorites.

    These two also look doable:

Justus ut palma - Michael Haller
Istorum est enim regnum - Claudio Casciolini

    Willan “O how glorious”. https://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/O_how_glorious_(Healey_Willan)

Ernest Bullock “Give me the wings of faith”

Harris “Holy is the true light”

These are All Saints’ texts originally, and are in the plural, focussing on the joy/glory the (unspecified) saints enjoy up in heaven, but are easy and could do the job if you don’t need something very specific.
