Seeking suggestions for a nice Alleluia setting that works with organ and brass quartet/quintet. Parish has used the Chepponis Festival Alleluia with frequency. Just looking to add another one (or two) to the repertoire... Thanks!
Missa Guadalupe’s Alleluia is a good corollary to the Festival Alleluia (better, in my opinion), and has great brass parts. The whole mass is great—I highly recommend.
Chepponis' other setting (Jubilation Mass, Mass for the People of God, etc.) lend nicely to brass.
I know Dr. Latona has some nice brass settings of the Alleluias they use at Christmas and Easter at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in D.C.
