Where can I find the Scriptural (or other) sources for the texts used in the Liber Usualis for Tenebrae, in particular the responsories? A few of the responsories appear in the Liber Hymnarius, and they have citations; for example, for the responsory "Sicut ovis" it says "cf Is 53, 7.12". That's perfect, but the Liber Hymnarius only has a few of the chants. Is there an edition of the Liber Usualis or a breviary that has references like that for all the chants?
I haven't found a source with the references, but it's not hard to run searches on-line to find where a given text is taken from. For example, if I run a search for "sicut ovis ad occisionem" vulgate the search results show excerpts from Isaiah 53.
Over the years I've assembled citations for several, though not all, of them:
