...that @tandrews and I pulled this off. I'm at the console, he's on the stand (though it was at *my parish*, haha). Diocesan choir of volunteers numbering about 60, and the most incredibly live congregational sound you could hope for (within reason).
I don't know why I'm sharing this right now, but I guess I've just been processing the last six years of my life this Lent, boons, mistakes, burdens, successes, sins, resolutions, et al, and I revisited this. Whatever I did in six years in Minnesota, I did this, or at least helped. It's a consolation in the midst of much inner turmoil:
I owe this forum that job in Sleepy Eye, much support and encouragement, and some wonderful friendships and connections along the way. I am very grateful.
Thank you for leaving something awesome for your successor ;) You did well. It was pretty incredible that this was the very first Mass I attended in Sleepy Eye.
