In anticipation of the Solemnity of Mary the Holy Mother of God, I decided to post my HYMN OF THE MONTH for January a day early. I have chosen a hymn especially suited to honor the Holy Mother of God. The words of this wonderful Marian hymn were written by an Irish Catholic priest. The verses contain many of the titles of Our Lady, and so it’s like singing a litany to Our Blessed Mother. The hymn can be used anytime we honor the Holy Mother of God for when we honor her, we magnify the Lord!
