Perhaps a stupid question, but I'm unclear about this, based on your text and the attachment....
Is the "liturgical event" All Souls' Mass, on November 2nd, or is it the Faure Requiem, or is it the request from the parish to pray for the departed in a more general (indulgence-gaining) way?

It's the Faure Requiem as part of Mass. I fixed it so it would be more intuitive.
