St. Michael’s Choir School welcomes applications for its Choir Conducting Internship(s) for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by Choir School conductors. This year, St. Michael's Choir School will be offering two (2) separate 10-week internships. The Internship programme reflects the Choir School’s commitment to fostering young conductors, educators, and church musicians. The Conducting Internship provides an opportunity for the intern to have hands-on experience in the areas of rehearsal leadership, classroom management, Mass participation, performance, and repertoire selection with boys from grades 3-12.
