St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Sterling Hts MI is seeking a well qualified candidate for the position of Director of Music Ministries (DMM). This is a 25 hour per week position with benefits included. The candidate must be knowledgeable of all aspects of the Catholic Liturgy, must be skilled in both organ and piano, and must have good vocal skills.

Responsibilities:

Select and play appropriate liturgical music for all weekend Masses, Holy Day Masses, and significant liturgical celebrations including funerals, weddings, and other parish liturgies.
Rebuild the parish music ministry and introduce chant and more traditional liturgical music to the parish.
Maintain all music equipment, including piano, organ, and sound systems.
Actively engage with the Pastoral Staff and collaborate with Worship Coordinator.
