This is essentially my Mass in B-flat minor that I posted previously but had to make some adjustments. Also, I thought St. John Henry Newman was a good saint to choose for this English Mass. I like the composition. I do have a quibble. The vocal range seems to be from E-flat to E-flat. Perhaps it is just me in the bass section, but I think a downward transposition could bring it into a more comfortable range for congregations.
This is very good. Worthy of St John Henry Newman and would fit right in in an Ordinariate parish. It's the best of all the contemporary masses which have appeared here!
