I have attempted to download Finale Viewer a number of times and though I get no message that installation is unsuccessful I can not download anything through CPDL from Abel DI Marco. I download the plug-in and try to access the file and get told I need to download the plug-in.

    Any suggestions? Thank you.

yes, that site uses an unsupported format that is essentially unusable. the good thing is that the files are open

    http://www.pucpr.edu/diocesis/musica/

so you can download them directly without the viewer.

Yes, and he does it so easily!
  • Has anyone here recently been able to access the .mus files from the directory link Jeff gave above?

If not, does anyone know if the problems with the site are permanent? This would be a big chunk of repertoire to lose!

All the .MUS files lead to error messages in the browser, perhaps due to some technical problem at the site. Perhaps it would be helpful to contact the coordinator of the music department listed at the department page.

hmmm wow that's not good at all. for years I've been thinking that I needed to do a complete download of that page since it was obvious that it was not being serviced.

You can try to retrieve what you can from the internet archive:

I'm sending the music department a note to ask them to look into the problem.
