On page 637, I dont see the little cross indicating how to sing the flex on the intercessions, but several intercessions throughout the Antiphonale have flexes.
Can you point to an example of an intercession with a flex? The only examples I can see are the first "intercession", which actually functions as an opening prayer, and uses the flex as exemplified on "...et corpus sanctifica".

You're right. How curious! I would probably sing it all on the same note with a slight pause for the flex. That was the practice in some regions or communities for the psalm-tones, was it not? But then I'm no expert. Others may suggest a better idea.
