Greetings all, I wanted to share my setting of Psalm 19 with you here, a week in advance, in case anyone would find it of use. In keeping with some of the previous psalms that I've shared here, this version is based on an ancient chant melody, in this case, Justitiæ Domini, which treats the same text, and is ordinarily the offertory antiphon for the 3rd Sunday of Lent. The incipit is the material for the refrain melody, while other bits of the remainder of the chant inspired the tone for the verses.
...As well as a YT vid which has the SATB rendition in addition to each part broken out for home-practice: https://youtu.be/y556Xkkb20M
NB: this uses the new Abbey Psalms and Canticles translation, as I didn't want to compose this, only to then have to re-do it in 2-3 years when the translation changes. I'm trying to get ahead of the curve now.
