Capella luscinia and « Maison Saint Jean-Baptiste » are happy to announce their 24th gregorian-chant 2021 session.
Dates: Monday 9 August at 2pm to Sunday 15 August at 12pm Location: Maison Saint-Jean-Baptiste 3 allée de la sérénité 33490 Saint-Maixant Contact us on (+33) 556 76 26 23 or by email: sessiongregorienne@icloud.com
The spirit of prayer – soul of Gregorian chant – is the primary focus of this session. To this end, we will work: the unity and clarity of choral singing, the art of rhythm, modality, semiology, and the (re)discovery of unknown pieces of the repertoire. This session is aimed at all men or young people (whose voices have changed) who wish to work for the glory of God in Gregorian chant, an integral part of the liturgy. This year, we will be working particularly on the integration of young voices, the consolidation of choirs and the deepening of the voice of the elderly.
