Chant Notation without Text in Illuminare Gregorio

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Illuminate Gregorio interface (http://apps.illuminarepublications.com/gregorio/) in creating chant scores without a text? I am trying to make some chant scores like this for teaching exercises. When I try it says "{"error":"error: unable to find the first letter of the score"}"

Try using dots/full stops.

Just figured it out. I did "initial-style: none;" and that fixed it.
