    Greetings all,
    This week is the first week back for a limited schola of singers. I needed something we could learn quickly so I wrote this today based on this Sunday's gospel reading from Matthew. Feel free to use and share.

    Would you object to using the Latin text?

    Of course not! I have to pick my battles with Latin, hence I set it in English at the time I wrote it. That said, it hadn’t even occurred to me to look at the Latin again.

    I’ll look into adapting this tomorrow, if I get the chance. Scanning the vulgate, it seems doable, albeit with added rhythms to make the text fit.
