St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church seeks a full-time Director of Music and Organist for our growing 3200-family parish. Please see our website (www.stphilipcc.org) for images of our beautiful new church (under construction). Key expectations include organ playing and improvising at a Master's degree level, choral directing, traditional hymnody, personal commitment to the Catholic Faith and dedication to excellence in all relevant areas. The parish celebrates the Ordinary Form of the Mass, musically supplemented by some Gregorian Chant, Latin mass settings and polyphony. Adult choir includes professional section leaders with plans to expand. A major new pipe organ is planned for the new church, which features acoustics designed by Dan Clayton. Prospective applicants should contact the Pastor, Fr. Raymond McDaniel, for more information: fathermcdaniel@stphilipcc.org.
