Sung Introit for a First Mass

    I need suggestions for a sung introit for a new priest's first mass. This will probably need to be accompanied, such as the Rice settings. Thanks for any help you can give.

    Is this first Mass in the OF or the EF?

    Also, what's the date? The calendar might limit your options.

    Echoing Chonak, just use the introit for whatever day/feast you’re celebrating. Richard Rice’s work and Adam Bartlett’s work leap to mind. If you’re looking for accompaniments for Bartlett, look to Ryan Dingess’ free resources here on the CMAA site.
