I got a last minute notice of the Chrism Mass webcast from Oakland tonight and for a panicked minute thought I'd lost a whole week. The Vatican has postponed it indefinitely, and while WP refers to its being originally part of the Easter Vigil, Thursday seems older than 1967. When did that shift occur, and what is going on now in other corners of the world?
The Archbishop also had it tonight. There's also this 2009 thread on moving it within Holy Week, but here is the footnote on page 21: "8 If necessary, the Chrism Mass may be celebrated on a suitable day before Holy Thursday."
