    We bad Gesimatide farewell today by celebrating (instead of Quinquagesima) the Solemnity of the Chair of St Peter, the feast of title of the American-Canadian Ordinariate

    (This would have been a ponitfical high mass, but Bishop Lopes fell six feet from a ladder at his home a few days ago. He broke both lower leg bones in his right leg and will be convalescing for about six weeks. Your prayers are solicited.)
