Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Seattle seeks an organist for our Sunday morning 8:30 and 10:30 Masses.

Primary Responsibilities:
Organ and occasional piano support for the 8:30 and 10:30 Masses each weekend
Holy Days including Triduum/Easter, Christmas, other feasts, major parish celebrations, and special rehearsals leading up to these
Prelude/Postlude at all Masses
First right of refusal for parish weddings and funerals with additional stipend
Thursday evening rehearsal with the Adult Choir from 7-9pm September-June
Rehearsals before each Mass with the choir or cantor

Qualifications:
Excellent organ and piano skills
Degree in music or equivalent experience
Practicing Roman Catholic preferred with good knowledge of the role of music in the liturgy
This is a part-time position with weekend and holiday work required, and includes compensation for personal practice time. Our Casavant organ was installed in 2010 and has 3 manuals, 33 stops and 36 ranks.
