    Our choir will be singing Giffen's Introit for Advent IV this Sunday. The choir loves it, as they have loved several other compositions from Mr. Giffen that we have sung over the past few years.     And thank you so much for your kind words and for singing my Advent IV Introit this Sunday. It is very special for me that your choir is singing this work.

    It just happened that, this evening (Tuesday, the 17th), I received a recording of the first performance of this work by the Phipps Festival Chorus in the 30th annual Holiday Concerts (Dec. 7/8) at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin. The members of the chorus love this work, too, and they sang their hearts out - as I am sure your choir members will, also.
