Job Description Holy Trinity Catholic Church, VA, a large suburban Washington, DC parish, seeks full-time Music Director to lead an established dynamic, faith-filled ministry team.
Director to oversee the parish's liturgical music program, direct adult choirs, train cantors, coordinate with other choir directors, and assist in planning funerals and weddings.
Successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a deep commitment to the principles and tradition of Roman Catholic liturgy. Musical proficiency in organ (piano and conducting very helpful). Proficiency in chant, polyphony and substantial prior experience in pastoral music is required. Academic background in liturgical music is a plus. Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff and parishioners.
