I hadn't heard much from Jeffrey Tucker on the topic of sacred music over the past few years. So I was surprised to come across this appearance on a history-themed podcast from July 2019 in which he recounts the history of music in the middle ages.
It' an entertaining discussion that made me a little bit nostalgic for the mini-resurgence of traditional liturgical music that kicked off around the beginning of Benedict XVI's papacy, fueled by the emerging new communication possibilities of the internet age.
So nice to hear this interview. Thank you for sharing it. He is probably reaching a different audience than our typical forum readership, and I think he covers the topic in an engaging way...
