    Does anybody know of a rendition of the classic "Gaudete" from the Piae Cantationes for Gaudete Sunday?

    Woops - meanwhile, I see I am not the first to mention this piece and its place during Advent.

    Thus to make my question more specific:

    Has anybody in history ever gone to the trouble of composing a latin text appropriate for the Advent Season to the same tune?
