I haven't started thinking about Christmas yet; we're focusing on Advent.
  • We have a bunch of new people, but none are readers, so I won't do anything much new. We'll do the Yon Mass of the Shepherds. Gaudete, In natali Domini from Specialnik, Oh how a rose in Latin, etc. I'll start the Advent music rehearsing after All Saints, might not pull Christmas out until Advent.

  • Early Mass at 5pm
    Trumpet, and organ
Treble Ensemble will sing Ledger's "Still, Still, Still."
    Lots of congregational carols

    Late Mass at 11pm
    String quartet, trumpet, and organ.
Full choir and a couple of guest singers.
Schubert-Proulx Mass (would like to change but it is a tradition here)
Rutter: "Shepherd's Carol" and "Candlelight Carol"
A couple of short Renaissance carols (to be determined) to balance the sweetness of above.
    Congregational carols in abundance.
Thirtieth annual eggnog party for choir and select friends at our home until 2:30am.

Christmas Day Mass -- no music (not my decision -- priest likes a very short mid-morning mass on Christmas Day)
