Anyone have a favorite motet version of Ecce Sacerdos Magnus? I got the Vittoria and Hassler versions from cpdl (The Bruckner seemed a little "festive" for my needs) but I heard there's a very nice Elgar version too.
I certainly like Singenberger's composition. It is a strikingly beautiful work. He was a Chicago composer and Director at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago during the early part of the 1900's. Unfortunately, the work is not published.
