St. Dorothy Parish in Lincolnton, North Carolina, is seeking an organist to join a music program based upon the rich patrimony of Catholic sacred music. Located less than 30 miles from the city of Charlotte, Lincolnton is a thriving small community rich in cultural arts with an active Theatre Guild, Arts Council, Historical Association, Community Concerts Association, Choral Guild, and a chapter of the North Carolina Symphony Association.

Organist responsibilities include:

• Execution of music for 2 weekend Masses (one Saturday evening and one Sunday morning)
• One weekday rehearsal and a Sunday morning warmup with adult choir
• Holy days, weddings and funerals

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Organ Proficiency (2 manual, 5 rank pipe organ, Lincoln Pipe Organs 2013)
• Experience in accompanying polyphony, Gregorian chant and solid hymnody
• A practicing Catholic in good standing preferred
