Hello, friends. On Saturday in the Octave of Easter the Seminary community was privileged to receive the Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of the Diocese of Lake Charles, Louisiana, for a Solemn Pontifical Mass at the Faldstool in the Seminary’s Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. The Mass ordinary was the Messe Solennelle in C# minor, Op. 16, of Louis Vierne. The Ecce Sacerdos of Anton Bruckner was sung at the Entrance of His Excellency. The Seminary’s Schola Cantorum was joined by the Women’s Schola from Tulane Catholic for this Mass. Video of the Mass may be found at this link:
