Music for English Mass ordinary using Veni Creator?

    Does an English Mass ordinary setting exist which uses the Veni Creator Spiritus chant as its basis? I can't find anything with my meagre research skills but tossing it out there in case someone might know.

    I don't know if any exist, but just as a comment: the "Veni Sancte Spiritus" might be a better basis for a Mass setting, since it has more melodic material to work with.

    I suppose, though, there are probably enough compositional tactics to make the four phrases of Veni Creator provide material for a Mass setting!

    According to one of my spreadsheets, there is a Sanctus and Amen out there somewhere. I'll check my files when I get home.

    This Sanctus was written by Luke Massery, who is a member here. He hasn't finished the setting but said he would see what else he has tomorrow.

    I wrote the attached kyrie, sanctus, and agnus only. The traditional version of sanctus is posted above. Maybe I'll get around to the Amen and Mystery of Faith at least.
