Anyone have any idea where I can get music for it?

Also, I was also surprised that I couldn't find any past posts on this mass on this forum...

    Try Frank LaRocca's website: https://www.franklarocca.com/

It offers scores for some of his works, but I don't think his "Mass of the Americas" is listed there yet. Probably the contact page on his website can lead you to get further info.

You might ask the Benedict XVI Institute for Sacred Music and Divine Worship in San Fransisco (https://www.benedictinstitute.org). IIRC, they are the ones who commissioned this work.

Doesn't Mary Ann Carr Wilson work with them now? She would be a good person to contact.

Can't help but smile at the blurb's apt "all-two-separate".

I can ask him. He is a friend. BTW, I love his music and was thrilled to hear the Mass for the Americas. I was invited but unable to go.
  • There is an interesting review today by Robert Royal at "The Catholic Thing" of La Rocca's Mass (performed at the Basilica in Washington, D.C. in a Tridentine Mass setting).

Watched the entire vid. Beautifully celebrated. Very interesting music. My hat is off to Mr. La Rocca. Truly in the spirit of sacred music and Gregorian undertones with more progressive (the right kind) hints of harmonic nuance. Ave Maria.

One might write to Frank about the music and any other questions at his website:

I sent Frank a note with my thanks earlier this week.

It might be worth mentioning that both Frank and the President of this Association will be addressing the CRCCM at our annual conference in January.
