    Is anyone here familiar with the Charpentier Messe de Minuit? If so, what do you do for the missing text in the Sanctus?

    I think this is how I have heard (and sung) this:

    S&A beginning on beat 3 of m29: "Do(6 beats)-mi-nus De-us Sa(2 beats)-ba(2 beats)-oth (2 beats)"
    T beginning on beat 3 of m30: "Do(2 beats)-mi-nus De-us Sa(3 beats)-ba-oth(2 beats)"
    B beginning on beat 3 of m31: "Do-mi(8th)-nus(8th) De-us(2 eighths) Sa-ba-oth(2beats)"

    Other syllables are just single quarter notes (single beats).
