The Roman Catholic Parish of St Ambrose in North Branford, Connecticut is presently seeking an experienced Vocalist / Cantor.

Qualified candidates must be available for two weekend Masses, and a choir rehearsal on a weekday evening. In addition, we seek the following qualifications:

~A thorough knowledge of the Catholic Faith, the Holy Mass, and the Liturgical Calendar. For the proper growth of our Music Department as a true ministry, integral to the life of our Church, a practicing Roman Catholic is preferred.

~Considerable experience in the art of directing and singing Gregorian Chant, traditional hymns, and motets…either in Latin or English translations/adaptations.

~Must be able to work as a team with fellow musicians and work in co-operation with Music Director/Organist.
