Hoping to take some time this summer to make my office a nicer and more inspiring place in which to work! I am looking to find nice artwork for my office walls. Specifically, framed art of Gregorian chant notation, as well as a worthy pipe organ. I have a nice canvas print of St. Cecilia, but am happy to entertain any other ideas you may have. Any suggestions or leads on where to turn for this?
I found some old wooden pipes at an antique shop that I have on the wall in my music room at home. I don't have a picture to share here, sorry - but maybe you could find some on eBay? This gives variety from just art and gives those old pipes a home :-)
I like to print out nice pieces from the huge stock at Wikimedia Commons. Find ones that are higher-quality, print on matte photo paper, frame if you like, and voilá. I like to change the art around seasonally.
I love these ideas. Right now I'm a scripture-verse-on-post-it-note kind of decorator. I have my kids' artwork and pictures above my desk which inspire me (My 4 year old drew a bunny and smiley face and told me to write, "To Baby Jesus, From Margaret." haha. Also a crucifix, of course, if you don't have one already.
