Saint Catherine of Siena Parish in Trumbull, CT has an opening for a tenor section leader in the parish choir starting in the fall (early September-late June). The choir is composed of volunteer and professional musicians. Competent sight singing skills, a strong voice, choral experience and ability to maintain regular attendance are essential. Weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals (7:00-8:30 pm.) and Sunday Mass, arriving at 10 a.m. for the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interested applicants must be available for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Compensation is $65 per appearance, with approximately 90 appearances for the complete season. Additional/increased stipends for holy days and special events. Possible cantor opportunities as well. Advanced highschool and college students are welcome to apply.
