Silly Question - Chant of the Carmelite Rite - Which Graduale to Use?

Out of curiosity - does the "Jerusalem" Rite (I think that's the term for the Rite used by Carmelites) have its own proper set of chants and a Graduale, like the Dominicans have for their set of chants? Or do they use the chant books of another Rite?

  • The Graduale for the Carmelite Rite, or more properly, the Rite of the Holy Sepulcher, is called the Antiphonale Missarum. With a few notable exceptions, it is primarily the Same as the Graduale Romanum. .
  • As would be expected, one of the exceptions is for the Feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel. The Introit is attached here...
