The Mission of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington is the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. In the faithful pursuit of this mission, Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD is seeking a part-time Parish Director of Music.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
. Select music for all parish liturgies and special parish events with
approval from the Priests
. Supervises musicians and volunteers.
. Recruits and schedules choir members, cantors, organists, and
instrumentalists.
. Attends staff meetings if able.
. Meets with couples and families to plan music for weddings
and funerals.
. Maintains parish music library.
. Obtains necessary copyright permissions to reprint music.
. Oversees maintenance of organ and piano.
. Directs weekly rehearsal for choir.

Candidates must be practicing Catholics in good standing with the Catholic Church. Candidates must have demonstrated
musical, pastoral, liturgical, leadership and organizational skills.
Experience is strongly recommended.
