Propers for Saints Philip and James, Apostles?
  • I'm in search of chant settings of the offertory antiphon for the feast of Sts. Philip and James on May 3rd in the O.F. Our mission of St. James the Less is becoming a parish, so we're celebrating with a sung Mass. We normally use Lumen Christi propers on Sundays, so something along those lines musically would be best. Latin or English. Any pointers would be welcome, thanks in advance.

Here's the offertory antiphon from Plainsong Propers of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood, O'Fallon, Missouri (©1965).

If you are comfortable with Lumen Christi you could also simply take the one from the Common of Apostles.

Lumen Christi have all the major feasts available on their website.

This is the document that I made up for my choir's use, to celebrate our parish's elevation to a Minor Basilica.
