Here is a recording of the Gloria from my Missa Ascensionis Domini, sung by the Youth Choir at Holy Family Church in Minneapolis (St. Louis Park), under the direction of Scott Turkington. It is transposed up a minor third, in C, from the original in A. The transposed score is also attached.
I didn't make the recording. It is a track (9) on a recently issued CD "Sacred Music at Holy Family Church" with works performed, variously, by The Holy Family Schola Cantorum, the Holy Family Youth Choir, the Saint Cecilia Academy for Strings, the Mirandola Ensemble, the Sobieski String Quartet, and the Holy Family Parish Choir. Scott Turkington is the Director of Sacred Music at Holy Family, and he kindly sent me the recordings. He had first used this Gloria with his youth choir in South Carolina, before coming to Holy Family in the Twin Cities (really, it was a case of returning to his home parish). The CD itself has some lovely performances.
