    Would you in your charity please pray for Joseph, one of the senior Altar Boys at my parish, who is in hospital with sepsis and is doing very poorly. Thank you.

    Thank you all for your prayers. When I first posted this I didn't know the extent of the problem : he has double pneumonia, sepsis, pleural effusion, and low kidney function, and until last night was on a respirator, and was on medication to keep his blood pressure high enough. He remains in pretty critical condition, though he is now breathing on his own (though on oxygen), and has been weaned off of the blood-pressure medication. The doctors are still unsure of what is causing the infection. Please keep the prayers coming!
